Welcome to MawaqitGo. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you about how we look after your personal data when you use our website and our mobile app, and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

The Data We Collect

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

• Location Data: We use your IP address or browser geolocation (with your permission) to provide accurate prayer times for your specific location. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored permanently on our servers unless you explicitly save a location.
• Usage Data: Includes information about how you use our website, products and services.
• Technical Data: Includes internet protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and other technology on the devices you use to access this website.

How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

• To provide prayer times and weather information specific to your location.
• To internalize and improve our website's performance and user experience.
• To comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

MawaqitGo Mobile App

The sections above describe how we handle data on our website. Our MawaqitGo Android app processes the following data:

• Location: With your permission, the app uses your device's approximate and precise location on your device to calculate prayer times and show your city. Your location and prayer history are not uploaded to our servers.
• Analytics & diagnostics: We use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand feature usage and diagnose crashes. This may include an app-instance identifier, your advertising ID, device information, and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Advertising: The app uses Google AdMob to show ads to non-subscribers. AdMob may use your advertising ID to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit this identifier in your device settings. Where required (EEA/UK/Switzerland), we request consent before serving personalized ads.
• Account & backup: If you sign in, we use Google Firebase Authentication to create an account and Firebase Firestore to back up your app data (prayer log, streaks, dhikr counts, saved items, and display name) so it follows you to a new device. Sign-in is optional.
• Purchases: If you upgrade to Premium — a subscription plan or a one-time (lifetime) purchase — it is processed by Google Play and RevenueCat; we receive your Premium status, not your payment details.
• Notifications: With your permission, the app sends prayer, reminder, and streak notifications. No data leaves your device for this.

Deleting your data. You can delete your account and all associated local and cloud data at any time from within the app (Profile → Settings → Delete account). This removes your backed-up data from our systems.

Third parties / processors. Google (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Authentication, Firestore, AdMob, Play Billing) and RevenueCat. Each processes data under their own privacy terms.

Google AdSense and Cookies

We use Google AdSense to serve ads when you visit our website. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites on the internet. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings.

Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed.
